QuoLux™ Scholarship
Imagine Gloucestershire being a place where thousands of businesses and charities work together creating social value and business value that has transformed lives of communities, the environment and employees; where innovation of partnerships has led to the county being a beacon of good growth, in terms of people, place, planet and profit. This is where the QuoLux™ Scholarship comes in.
The importance of developing charity leaders in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE) is paramount. But with the focus firmly on charitable outcomes there is too often a lack of investment from charities themselves in leadership development.
We know at firsthand the major impact effective leadership has in a charity. Here are VCSE leaders who we have worked with and how investing in leadership has helped them:

Emma Griffiths

Cordell Ray MBE
CEO, Caring for Communities and PeopleThink you know it already?? Think again! It really disrupts your thinking. I am not alone when it comes to highly recommending LEAD™.
Abby Guilding
Director of Fundraising, WellChildI can wholeheartedly say that my leadership would not be what it is today without the support from QuoLux™. I'm truly grateful for the insights I’ve gained and the support network I've developed. There's so much benefit from peers giving their perspective on all aspects of my business.
Beth Hughes
CQC Registered Manager, Nelson TrustHaving had a senior leader go through LEAD™, GOLD™, GAIN™ and the positive impact it had on our charity, I felt incredibly lucky to be offered a scholarship place on the LEAD™ programme, and it has been one of the most influential things in my working career to date. A key learning point has been that a charity is still a business, and in the economic climate that we are in, charitable organisations need to be as high performing as any other business.
Geoffrey Newcombe

The aim of the QuoLux™ Scholarship is to fund the development of leadership skills and capacity within the leadership of VCSE in Gloucestershire to improve the lives of others, where communities will be stronger, more resilient, sustainable and efficient.
